My name is Rebekah Mulford, I have been practicing yoga for 15 years.
In 2009 I completed my 200 hr RYT from Marianne Wells Yoga school and my prenatal training with Yogafit in 2011.
I currently have over 1500 hours of teaching logged. Through my love of yoga I hope to inspire those who attend class to be more creative, loving and open. To explore not only the physical side of yoga, but to experience all the benefits of a yoga practice.
I began my practice of yoga to relieve stress and improve my overall health. I have been practicing since 2009. I am certified as a Children’s Yoga Teacher through Childlight yoga.
I love introducing children to yoga and hearing the stories of how they apply the learned yoga techniques off the mat. I am currently pursuing a 200 hour yoga teacher training program. I am have my M.Ed. in reading education and love the find ways to integrate literacy and yoga.
Jamie first started practicing yoga several years ago as a way to clear her mind and ease her anxiety. About 2 years ago a friend introduced Jamie to hot power vinyasa yoga and she was instantly hooked. She loved how power yoga transformed her body physically but still gave her the mental and emotional peace she craved.
In the fall of 2013, she enrolled in teacher training as a way to deepen her practice. During that time, she discovered a deeper inner confidence, new mindful way of living and a passion to share yoga with others.
Jamie's sequences are full of movement and energy with an emphasis on self confidence and the mind body connection.
Bee Relaxed is a slower-paced yoga class that combines elements of restorative and yin yoga. With a focus on the breath and taking time to slow down, it is a great option for anyone looking to unwind and let everything go. This is often recommended as a great class for beginners as well. This class is accessible for anyone regardless of fitness or experience level.
Bee Balanced is a combination of the Bee Energized and Bee Relaxed classes. The class will integrate a gentle flow with restorative yoga. This class is accessible for anyone regardless of fitness or experience level.
Bee Energized is a multi-level yoga class that combines elements of vinyasa and hatha yoga in a fun atmosphere. A flowing sequence of poses will focus on connecting movements to the breath in order to increase strength, energy and flexibility. Variations and modifications are a fundamental part of this class; it is a great option for beginners and experienced yogis alike.
Bee Strong is a faster-paced vinyasa class offering more challenging asanas and transitions. The class will build heat and experiment with a deeper practice both physically and mentally. Yoga postures and movement will be connected with the breath throughout this practice. This class is recommended for anyone looking to build strength and seeking a challenge in their yoga practice.
